How much does professional verification cost, and is it required?
The base price is US$ 20.00, and a fixed price of R$ 100.00 applies in Brazil. Brazilian accounts are charged through MercadoPago and accounts in other countries through Stripe. Verification is entirely optional: no freelancer needs it in order to use the platform, send proposals or work on projects.
Which documents are accepted for verification?
We accept a passport, a national identity card or a driver's license. Alongside the document you choose, a selfie is also required. Files must be jpg, jpeg, png or pdf, and no larger than 10 MB each.
What happens if my verification is rejected?
You can upload new documents without paying again. It is worth checking image quality before resubmitting: all corners of the document visible, a sharp photo, no glare across the printed details, and files within the 10 MB limit. Also make sure the name on the document matches the name registered on your profile.
How long are my rejected documents kept?
Documents from rejected requests are retained for 90 days. That window exists so the case can be looked at again if you question the decision or submit related material.
What does the blue badge do for my profile?
The blue badge shows that your identity has been checked and approved by our team, giving clients a concrete trust reference. Along with it, approval grants verified professional status and 500 extra ranking points. It also fills in the identity-verified signal used to calculate your verification level.
Why is my profile still pending approval?
Every new account starts with its profile pending and needs an administrator to approve it before it becomes public. This is a normal step, not a sign that something is wrong with your account. Use the time to complete your description, skills and portfolio items, since incomplete profiles give the review less to work with.
